Our New Little Library!

The Little Library was created by two Girl Scouts from Troop 94427 to complete their Silver Award. They created the library and collected donated books for children to borrow when they visited the library. They wanted to share their love of reading with others. Children are encouraged to read the books at the playground or take them home to read and return the book or other books to the library for everyone to share the next time they visit. Books can be donated at any time the playground is open by placing them into the library.

Mayfair Memorial Playground is very special to my grandsons and I, as it was made with love by friends and neighbors. The Mayfair Memorial Playground Friends, along with many other caring people, take the time and energy to raise money to keep the playground nice and safe! My grandson Angelo says it's his favorite playground and he lives in Maryland! Every time he visits he wants to go to Mayfair Memorial Playground! I thank the Mayfair Memorial Playground Friends for making this playground possible!
